Two xFi accounts, one app?!?

Hello everyone,

I have opened a second xFi internet account at a second address. It does not appear however that from the xFi app or from the web portal, I can switch between accounts even though they are linked to my one user account. The only way is to go to My Accounts, and make the one I want to review or manage, the primary. It was "suggested" by Xfinity support I could manage both from the single app. I guess while technically true, I can't just select the one I want without first making it the primary.

Is this a user error on my part, meaning I'm missing something? Or is this just the way it is and I need to just deal with it? I suspect the latter.

Thanks ....

hello,

Unfortunately you would be correct in the latter.  Currently there is no way for us to have the 2 accounts linked to one user id, each account number you have has a separate user id.  The easiest thing might be to have 2 instances of the app, one for each account.  I hope this helps and maybe one day soon we'll be able to have both accounts on one Xfinity ID.   Thanks so much for the inquiry and have a great day!

Thanks. How can you have two instances of the same app with one login? The whole point of "linking" the accounts under one user id is so you don't have to have two separate logins. Even if you did, you can only be logged into the app under one account at a time.

Hi @stmiranda

Expect an update in the xFi app to support linked accounts within the next few releases. Thanks for your patience, the "Make Primary" functionality the Linked Account Management settings was a temporary holdover.

Cheers
