Unable to access WiFi settings

I can't access my WiFi settings on the Xfinity app to change the name. Everytime I select wifi details I get a blank white pop-up with nothing on it. I've tried accessing the settings on the website but I get an error page stating "That information can't be reached" I've signed out and signed back into the app, I've cleared the app cache, I've restarted my phone, and I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but I'm still having the same problem.

Hey @user_m1s1z3, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience regarding the Xfinity App and WiFi settings. I would be more than happy to offer my assistance looking into this further for you.

Please note that sending unsolicited private messages to myself or any other user is a direct violation of our forum guidelines. You must first create a Public post requesting assistance, and once a Comcast verified employee responds and asks for a private message to be sent, you can then proceed with doing so. This is just a heads-up for future reference, but I look forward to further assisting you.

With the Xfinity App, the WiFi Tab will be active with Xfinity xFi Gateways only as owned modems are not supported. Do you currently have an Xfinity xFi Gateway? If you do and are not able to access the WiFi Tab, could you go to the main overview page and see if there is a window to activate/install the Xfinity xFi Gateway for activation?

Sorry about that I wasn't aware. But I actually got the issue resolved, I saw a past thread that mentioned going through the steps to "activate" the gateway, for a similar issue, and that seemed to work. I can now edit the wifi SSID and password, so I'm all set.
