Unable to set port forwarding

I am experiencing an issue accessing the Port Forwarding option within the Xfinity App. I am receiving an error message stating "Something unexpected happened." I require assistance in resolving this matter as I am in need of this service.

Hello @XfinityMarcus,

I previously did not have port forwarding enabled on my Xfinity gateway. However, when I attempted to enable port forwarding using the Admin tool, it was unsuccessful. Is it necessary to use the app to enable port forwarding? When I tried using the app, this message appeared on my screen. I even factory reset my WI. Fi. Router and even unplugged it for 1 hour. But this screen always shows up every time.

@user_anvg2w Sorry for the trouble with the Xfinity app. Here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfi-port-forwarding is an excellent article about port forwarding. It will walk you step-by-step with the available options.

@XfinityLinda​ you did not read OP's post....he already went to the options per the instructions you sent, but it says "Something Wrong Happened". thats the issue for MANY of us....the Xfinity App is broken and does NOT load the Port Forwarding options. thats what needs to be fixed.
