VPN “advance security on the go”

I am tired of “advance security on the go” no longer working or coming up on the app. I have chatted and went to Reddit and they all act like they don’t know what I am talking about. I even found another thread with the same issue.

Hello, @user_jval9. I appreciate you making us aware the "Advanced security on the go" feature isn't working for you at this time. I would be more than happy to help figure out a solution to this problem you're experiencing. 

Can you check to make sure your Xfinity App is on the latest update? If it already is, can you try deleting the app and reinstalling it?

Also, make sure you are logging in with a Primary or Manager Xfinity ID. Members and Views cannot make changes to Advanced Security features.

@XfinityRaul​ I have downloaded and deleted the Xfinity app. I am running iOS 18.1.1 I am running Xfinity app version 5.39.0 I don’t have somewhere to turn on “advanced security to go” anywhere.

Thanks for confirming you have already uninstalled the app and downloaded it again to your device, @user_jval9. Have you by any chance tried downloading the app to another iPhone device with the latest iOS?

Can you clarify for us, so that we can better help with troubleshooting, what changed or is no longer working with the advance security on the go? @XfinityBillie​ you all updated the app. Once the app updated it went away.
