Where do I go to to shut off certain app notifications?

I got a bill due reminder notification, through this app. Not through email or text.  That rubbed me the wrong way, and then to rub the salt in, when I went to open the app I got hit with "Looks like you need to update this app"....Mind you the bill due reminder notification push worked just fine on that very app.

There is no way to shut off certain notifications on the app, my prediction is they will send xfinity product advertisements to worm around the email and text opt-outs.  No means no, xfinity!

Oh, about my bill, I am not behind, I pay once a month, they know when I pay as I never pay twice in one month.

My next complaint, when I asked to change the bill due date, I think I only got that due date a couple of times, and then it started back sliding, originally due on the 3rd of the month, I asked for the 6th, I get either the 4th of 5th.

Good afternoon @whatnamesrleft, and thank you for reaching out on our forums with your app and billing concerns, we appreciate it. To confirm, is your app up to date? With regards to your bill due date concerns, please be aware that to be eligible to move your bill’s due date, you must have completed at least one billing cycle, and your bill must not be past due.  Once you change your bill’s due date, you need to keep that billing date for at least six months. For more information, please see the following linkhttps://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/due-date-change. Have you tried to change your bill due date more than once?

@XfinityAlyssaA Yes my app is up to date, otherwise i wouldn't be able to go any further.  The updates are forced to be able to use the app, but not necessary for xfinity to push out notifications.

I changed my due date a number of years ago.  I click on change due date section, and it dumped me out of the system completely TWICE trying to go that that, saying it was having trouble trying to connect or some thing.

Too many unnecessary logins to do any thing! Along with constant text message codes. It absolutely enrages me when xfinity wastes my time.

To tie in my email from mid afternoon, from xfinity: We haven't received your payment

Message in big letters

Your Xfinity payment is overdue

No it isn't! Its due on the 5th. Xfinity is being overly dramatic.

@whatnamesrleft thank you for following up that the Xfinity App is up-to-date, and completely understand where you're coming from with the frustration with receiving notifications. I checked the Xfinity App settings: by going to the Account tab > Account settings > Notification settings > Notification types. I'm only seeing text, email, and push notification (this looks to be notifications for home network settings.

- Do you receive the same bill due message when logging into the account online as well?
