Why does the "Edit" button simply show as a purple line?

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with latest Android Operating system -

Accessing the Xfinity App

Click "WiFi" tab

Click "WiFi details" button

There should be an "Edit" button at the bottom f the screen

All that shows is a purple line (see image)

There are no scroll bars and you cannot "pinch to shrink"

How do I fix this?

Half the time when I click the purple line it takes me to the edit screen

Half the time it just offers to share my WIFI password via text.

Hello, @user_d6def3! Sorry to see your having trouble with the app. I would recommend making sure you have the latest version of the XFINITY App installed to see if that may help to get the scroll bar to appear if you have not done so yet.

@XfinityFrank I have done so and nothing has changed. The rendition of the screen on the Samgung Galaxy S23 Ultra by the Xfinity App is simply defective.

user_6vzfh0, If the edit button is missing, it could be due to a software glitch. Try to fix this by restarting your phone, updating all apps, and clearing the Gallery app cache.

@XfinityAngie No difference. It's not really a "software problem" in that way.

They've designed the screen wrong. The "Purple Line " is actually the top of the button. It's there, you just cannot see it. And since you cannot scroll the screen or shrink it, it's (pretty much) out of reach.

The software developers need to put a scroll bar on this screen, or learn how to detect the size of the view window and size to it on Android.
