WiFi Motion no gear icon

I have no gear icon in the top-right corner of the WiFi Motion Live Viewpage in the xfinity app, so I can’t turn on notifications for motion. Why is there no gear icon??

Hello there @user_85w44l, hope you are having a great day, has the latest version of the Xfinity app been updated on your device?

Wifi motion tab/page is completely missing from my app.  Under wifi shield, it shows it's activated but under notifications in "app details" have no listing for wifi motion at all.  Was there before it disappeared

Taurussho86 Thanks for reaching out about your concern about the WiFi motion tab being missing. It should be listed currently under the "home" tab for you to use it to turn it on/off. Are you able to find it there?

I've tried everything, there's nothing you guys can do.  I already talked to support.  There is no wifi motion under Home.  I already know the layout of this app like the back of my hand.  It is NOT IN THIS APP

Taurussho86 As long as you have the right equipment, and active services it should be showing. I would like to look into this further, and work go getting this fixed for you if you would like. I'll need to review the account by getting some account details from you in direct message to assist please.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"

As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

Press Enter to send it.
