Wifi name and password won’t change

On the app I am trying to change the wifi name and password. I enter the new name and password, but the save button stays greyed out so I can’t save what I put in. There isn’t any error messages or anything so I don’t know what could even be the problem.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_bea23d. I would be happy to assist you with any issue with the Xfnity app. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

   Click "Sign In" if necessary

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

You and everyone else. I can't fathom how many times I've tried over the past 18-20 months and it didn't work. Just getting tech support was a near -insurmountable task. It was actually absurd. You'd think i was asking for a free kidney.

Anyone out there courageous enough to to try their hand at tech support tango.

Same problem here. It's terrible that there's all this "reach out directly" instead of a FAQ for what is obviously a not-uncommon issue
