Xfi advanced security blocking Facebook app

started experiencing issue with the Facebook app on my iPhone 12 in the evening on Saturday the 20th. 

I assumed it was just Facebook being Facebook. The issue persisted all throughout Sunday the 21st. On a whim I was googling the issue and after seeing the suggestion of turning off the wifi, I found that the app worked fine on cellular data. It was only on wifi that there was an issue. 

I tried removing and redownloading the app, cleared cache and cookies on all browsers on the iPhone, reset network settings, hard reset the iPhone. 

finally I turned xfi advanced security off and BOOM no more issues. Not sure why but suddenly xfi advanced security is blocking the Facebook app. Any idea how to get this to stop?

I was able to resolve this by turning advanced security off and on again.
