Xfinity App is not Showing my Gateway

The Xfinity gateway does not show in the Xfinity app under devices on the WiFi tab.  I have unplugged the gateway (XB7) for 20 minutes, uninstalled the Xfinity app, power-cycled my iPhone, and re-installed the app.  The only device on my list continues to be the x1 box.  I am unable to manage the gateway.

How to send us a direct message:

  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.

Installing the XB8 gateway solved the problem.  This issue can be closed.

No, I returned the xb7 to my local xfinity store.
