Xfinity app not loading

The Xfinity app continuously hangs on my Samsung S10, then eventually times out telling me "that didn't go as planned," try again. This has been going on for at least a month now, so the app has been essentially worthless to help me manage my home network. The latest update on or around June 15 did nothing to address this issue.
Any ideas how to troubleshoot?

Hello there!
Thank you for reaching out to our Digital Care Team here within our very own Xfinity community!
I know how important it is to be able to have access to the Xfinity application when it's most needed! I use mine almost daily to manage my kiddos internet usage!

A couple of things we may want to try are as follows!
1) Attempting to logout and log back in again, if able to do so.
2) Force close the app, and relaunch it
3) Ensure that the device has an internet connection
4) Clear cache/data from the application
5) Uninstall/Reinstall from Apple or Google play store

Hi Chelsea,

I had done everything except clear cache from the app. Along with clearing the cache, I restarted my phone for good measure, and now I'm in! Thanks for your help.

That is awesome! I'm so glad that it worked out for ya! I depend on my app quite a bit, and definitely take any measure needed myself if anything starts to act wonky!
