I’m having the same exact issue. Both mobile app and the site won’t register our plans. I just got a new modem today, we were trying to set it up. for some reason, When any of us in the household sign in, it just keeps telling me there’s an error and I can’t even get to my account. I really need help with this, and it’s extremely unacceptable that their service is this  janky.

Apparently Xfinity IT engineers have resolved whatever issue they were having with the App. 
Things seem to be working as expected today.

I just got this as well--right after I set up the modem/router. I will wait a couple of days in case my account is so new it just has to sync.

Should I delete the iOS app and reinstall? The only thing is that it says it will delete all the data...

archiTech89 Hi there! Are you able to clear the cache in the app? This may be a solution rather than uninstalling it. If that does not work, then yes, we recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the application. Let us know if you have any issues or need further assiatnce. We are here to help!

Ive cleared cache, data, un-installed and reinstalled, and still getting the Something Went Wrong error. The app isn't working AT ALL and glitched out while I was on the chat with a live agent.

Please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
