Xfinity Connect page.

Strange emails listed on left side of Xfinity Connect page. Each one is unknown to me. There is a triangle with an exclamation point after each address.

vayankee1 Thanks for creating a post. Did you report the emails or flag them as spam? Have any additional emails appeared since then?

Thanks for your reply. I am 85, a bit slow with computers. How do I post publicly?

I was not referring to emails but to email addresses. Again, there are three email addresses listed on the left side of the page, in the column. I have no idea why they are there or how to remove them.

vayankee1 I appreciate you keeping us posted, so we can answer your Email questions. We are currently communicating in a public thread on our forum page. Does the alert look like the Suspicious Email Banner seen here?

That's the column that I am talking about. In that column, from the top of it, are Inbox, Drafts, etc., then My folders. Next is, indented, imap. Then there are the three email addresses that I am writing about, and work. I tried using Snipping Tool and then Print Screen, with no success.

vayankee1 Thank you for confirming that for me. The suspicious email banner and logo appear in your webmail toolbar next to any email that Xfinity finds questionable. This helps warn you that an email may be a scam or a fake. When it displays, you should take extra care with that message.
You can learn how to spot phishing here and find tips to protect yourself from phishing attempts. These scams are a growing problem with scammers always trying new ways to trick people. To help protect you from phishing, Xfinity shows this suspicious email banner and logo on emails that may be fraudulent or phishing.
