Xfinity Hotspots App, Secure Profiles Question.
Previously, I could go to https://prov.wifi.xfinity.com/ and install the secure Xfinity WiFi profile certificates on my iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. However, now with the Xfinity Hotspots app availability this page no longer allows you to install these profiles. Has the Hotspots app replaced these profiles being necessary? When I go into "Update Secure Profile" in the Hotspots app on my iPhone and iPad it says the Secure Profile on your device is up-to-date, but no profiles are listed under Settings-General-Profiles on my iPhone and iPad which leads me to believe the Hotspots app is the secure profile now. However, the Hotspots app is not available for Apple Watch so I still have the old (but current) profile certificates on it but no way to update them in the future. Any answers? Thanks!

Hey there, @MJL476, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your Xfinity Hotspots app. You are correct that once you are using the Xfinity Hotspot app there is no need to install the secure Xfinity WiFi profile. The app will automatically install the Xfinity WiFi secure profile to help your device connect to secure Xfinity WiFi Hotspots where available. To get the latest profile, you can always go to App Settings > Update Secure Profile. Alternatively, you can sign out and sign back in to force start the profile installation process.
Here is a link with more information regarding the app's security features, https://comca.st/3x4rDN6. Let me know what additional questions you have!
