Xfinity Mobile

When I was younger I had Xfinity for my cable and WiFi and I loved it.
I have had it for over 3 years now. I have it for WiFi and mobile and it has been thee worst experience.
I started out having just the Wi-Fi and it has been up and down because the Wi-Fi doesn't work well at all. I live in an apartment and it doesn't even go throughout my apartment. Then I transferred my iPhone 13 Pro Max phone number over to them.
my mobile service was going great. I did notice a jump in the price, but I know that tends to happen at times so I left it as it was.
I can't remember why I ended up contacting customer support about six months ago or more. But when I did, I found out I had been paying for two lines for over a year. After going back-and-forth and proving, I only had one I was told I would be refunded. In the beginning, I was told it would be put back on original payment. So I waited for a month and there was no sign of it. I contacted them again and was told when I spoke to them about it the first time that they were crediting my account. Which that was not the case. So I waited another month with no sign of it. I contacted them again. After talking to a very rude customer service agent that took me in circles. I finally reached a manager. I was told by the manager it would be credited to my account. I waited a couple weeks still no sign of it. I finally contacted corporate. They got back with me a week later. Then over $400 was credited to my account.
I had added insurance to my account to protect the phone I had. I ended up breaking my phone a month or so later. In wouldn't cover it and Xfinity wouldn't let me get an upgrade. So I chose to switch providers. I received a brand new phone but I wanted to take my number. Mind you I had the number when I went to Xfinity.
After receiving my new phone, I tried to transfer my number. The only way I could do it was by receiving a text to the phone that I can't unlock.
It has been almost two weeks now and I still haven't been able to transfer my number. I have spoken to 5 customer service agents and been to the Xfinity store twice. No one will give me a code to transfer my phone number.
I don't have a car and I had to get a ride to the store the first time. After proving my identity, I was given a account number and a pin code to give to the other phone company. I had to go to work so I took the information and called the company from my job. after being on the phone for almost an hour, the conclusion was I was given the wrong account number and pin code. I was able to access the account number online, but still didn't have the right code.
All of this is affecting my job also. I have to use my phone to login to my account for extra security. This is all based off of my number.
I went to the store again today. I was happy just knowing I would get the right code. After proving my identity again, I was told they could not even get into my account. Their system was messed up and they couldn't get into it. So after taking an uber there, I still don't have a phone code.
This has been a mess for almost 3 weeks now. I am beyond frustrated. I will NOT EVER recommend Xfinity to anyone. This company is the WORST!😤😡

user_92876r Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience with us here on our Xfinity Forums. I'm sorry to read of the trouble you have had with the internet connections and now with the mobile service and need to transfer providers.
I know how difficult it is to obtain the transfer PIN when you are unable to receive the text. The transfer PIN is in place for security, which is great if someone is trying to take your number, but in this case it's causing more stress, and I'm sorry for that.
Looking at our policy if you are unable to receive the PIN on your mobile number the only other option is to visit the Xfinity store. I know you have been there twice, and they were not able to assist you this morning. When a transfer PIN is generated it should be valid for 7 days. Was the request to transfer placed after 7 days from when the store first assisted with the transfer PIN?
I want to help out in any way we can, but for transferring to a new provider the PIN is only available through text and the Xfinity store.
