Access voicemail

There are three ways to access voicemail using your phone's dial pad:

  • Press and hold 1.
  • Dial *86.
  • Dial your Xfinity Mobile phone number.

Voicemail main menu

Keypress Description
1 Listen to messages
2 Send a message
4 Personal Options

Listen to messages (Option 1 from the main menu)

The following options are available after selecting option 1 (Listen to Messages).

Keypress Description
# Skip to the next message
5 Get envelope information
7 Erase and skip to the next message
9 Save message and listen later
* Cancel message review
To control position during playback, use the top row keys:
1 Rewind eight seconds
1-1 Rewind to the start of the message
2 Pause playback
3 Fast Forward eight seconds
3-3 Go to the end of the message
Playback is controlled with the second row keys:
4-4 Slow down playback speed
4 Go back to normal speed
6-6 Speed up playback
6 Go back to normal speed

0 - * Cancel message review

Personal options (Option 4 from the main menu)

The following options are available after selecting option 4 (Personal Options) from the main menu.

2 Change administration options
3 Greetings or recorded name
3-1 Personal greeting
3-1-1 Standard number
3-1-2 Standard name
3-2 Extended absence greeting
3-3 Change recorded name
3-5 Alternate greeting
3-6 Establish or change greeting schedule
3-* Previous menu


The following options are available after selecting option 2 (Change Administration Options) from the Personal Options menu.

1-1 Establish or change password
1-3 Change prompt level
  • Press 1 for standard
  • Press 2 for extended
  • Press 3 for rapid
  • Press * to cancel
1-4 Change message details
1-4-1 Date and time
  • Press 1 to turn date and time on
  • Press 2 to turn date and time off
1-4-2 Name playback
  • Press 1 to play name only
  • Press 2 to play name or telephone number
  • Press 3 to play telephone number
  • Press 4 to turn name playback off
1-4-3 How messages are played back
  • Press 1 for only message information
  • Press 2 for entire message
  • Press * to return to the previous menu
1-4 - * Previous menu
1-6 Turn autoplay on or off
  • Press 1 to turn autoplay on
  • Press 2 to turn autoplay off
1-8 Change mailbox language
  • Press 1 for English
  • Press 2 for Spanish
1-9 Change telephone answering language
