Xfinity Mobile’s latest price plan includes unlimited calls and texts to Mexico and Canada, and unlimited data when traveling to those countries when you have a Mobile Plus or Mobile Select plan.

• The Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass, and international roaming are not supported on tablets or smartwatches.
  • Using data on tablets will result in pay-as-you-go usage charges in Mexico and Canada.

With Mobile Plus, Mobile Select, Premium Unlimited, and Unlimited data options

Unlimited calls, texts, and data between the United States and Mexico and Canada are included for all customers with the Mobile Plus, Mobile Select, Premium Unlimited, and Unlimited data options. You don’t need to do anything; it is automatically part of your plan.

• With Mobile Plus, Mobile Select, and Premium Unlimited mobile plans, you get international data roaming with high‑speed data for your first 10 GB each billing cycle when visiting over 215 destinations worldwide (including Mexico and Canada).
• With Unlimited mobile plans, you get unlimited calls and texts to Mexico and Canada and unlimited talk, text, and 5 GB of data while in Canada and Mexico. You get high-speed data for your first 5 GB per billing cycle.

Even after you use your high-speed data, you’ll have unlimited data at 14 Mbps speeds. That means you can:

• Check email, surf the web, and enjoy social media.
• Keep watching videos — Stream shows and clips on Netflix or YouTube without stopping.
• Use maps and GPS to navigate with confidence.

Offered data speeds are subject to availability in the location you are using your phone.

With the By the Gig data option and prior price plans

With By the Gig data, and with any data option on our previous price plans purchased and activated before March 22, 2024, you can add a Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass for $5 per month per line.

This lets you place unlimited calls and texts to Mexico and Canada as well as offering unlimited data while traveling to those countries.

• You can purchase an additional 5 GB of high-speed data per pass, per month. After the additional 5 GB of data is used, data is available at 3G speeds until a new pass is started. For details on how to add, see Adding an additional Mexico and Canada data pass.

Adding the Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass

If you have a By the Gig plan or an Unlimited plan bought before March 22, 2024, you can follow the steps below to add the pass.

Good news! If you're on the latest pricing plan, have an Unlimited plan on an account purchased after March 22, 2024, or migrated to the latest pricing plan with an Unlimited plan, you already have these benefits included — no need to add it.

Xfinity app

To add the Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass using the Xfinity app:

1. Sign in to the Xfinity app.
2. Click the Services tab.
3. Go to Mobile lines and data usage in the Mobile services card.
4. Choose the phone line you’d like to turn the feature on.
5. Scroll to Plan features, then select Get Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass and follow the prompts.
6. You may be required to sign in again.
   • You'll see a confirmation screen once you’ve successfully added the Mexico and Canada Call Pass.
7. Before getting started, make sure your device is enabled for data roaming.
   • You must do this through your device’s settings.

To add the Mexico and Canada Call Pass using your Xfinity Mobile account on xfinity.com:

1. Sign in to your Xfinity Mobile account.
2. Go to the Activity page.
3. Scroll to International Services and select Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass.
4. Go to See details and add next to Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass $5/mo.
5. Check the boxes next to Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass for each device you want to include.
6. Select Next, then Add Pass.
7. We will send you an email once the change is complete.
8. Before getting started, make sure your device is enabled for data roaming.
   • You must do this through your device’s settings.

Adding an additional Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass

If you are on a By the Gig plan or an Unlimited plan bought before March 22, 2024 and already have the Mexico and Canada Unlimited Plan on your line, you can follow the steps below to add another pass.

Xfinity app

To add an additional Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass using the Xfinity app:

1. Sign in to the Xfinity app.
2. Click the Services tab.
3. Go to Mobile lines and data usage in the Mobile services card.
4. Choose the phone line you’d like to add the Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass to.
   
   • This takes you to the line details screen.
5. Scroll to Plan features and select Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass.
   • Buy additional data for $5 to resume high-speed data.
6. Select Add a pass to continue.
7. Check the boxes next to Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass for each device you want it on.
8. Click Next, then Add Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass.

1. Sign in to your Xfinity Mobile account.
2. Go to the Activity page.
3. Scroll to International Services and select Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass.
4. Go to Add additional data next to the line you’d like to update.
5. From the pop up select Add to continue.

Here are a few things to be aware of if you add the Mexico and Canada Unlimited Pass on one or more lines:

• The $5 per month charge will recur until you choose to remove the pass.
• When you remove it, it remains active for the rest of your current billing cycle.
  
  • At the start of the next billing cycle, it becomes inactive.
• When it gets removed, you will go back to pay as you go rates for your calls to Mexico and Canada and data from Mexico and Canada.
  • Find international rates.
• Your Unlimited Pass comes with you if you switch between data plans.
• If added mid-billing cycle, you are still responsible for any previous pay-as-you-go charges. The pass will cover all usage from the time it’s added for the rest of the cycle.
