Can you bring back remote app

It has been over a year and the web base remote is still horrible!  You can’t set a recording from it if you are at work, buttons are touch sensitive (meaning sometimes it doesn’t record what you touch) and it CONSTANTLY TIMES OUT!  I have to keep logging in and going through the verification process every time.  In one night!

user_3j9k3o Thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately, we don't have plans on bringing back the Xfinity Remote app. Have you tried setting a DVR recording using the Xfinity Stream app?

That doesn’t address the issue of the web based remote CONSTANTLY timing out forcing me to CONSTANTLY go through verification process. I have to use the web remote as my parent who has Alzheimer’s disease constantly misplaces it!  Not to mention when you use the stream app for the guide, it takes several mins to load. The streaming app should be used only for that STREAMING.  If Xfinity really cares about its customers, and make things easy for them, they would bring back the remote app that so many people used.
