Cannot select recently watched channels on LG TV

I constantly have to relaunch Xfinity stream on my LG TV because I cannot select some channels from the recently watched list after a few channel changes. Very, very frustrating. Do you guys not test and check changes before you release new versions?? It's a constant battle with the Roku and LG versions of the Xfinity Stream app - honestly frustrating, with buffering, channel issues, reduced "last watched" selections (5 iso 10) - what's up with all these issues?

Why did Xfinity change the number of last watched channels to only 5 on the Xfinity stream app for Roku? This makes no sense!

Hello user_nru5bl, we appreciate you taking the time to reach out on our Forums regarding this "Recently Watched / Recent Channels" display change. I absolutely understand your concerns and apologize that this change caused you any inconvenience or frustration. I can confirm effective March 13, that customers using the Xfinity Stream app on Roku will see the Recently Watched and Recent Channels options displayed change from nine to five items. This was an updated feature to the platform, and I apologize we do not have any other information regarding the change. I can absolutely get your feedback passed along to our development team for further review.

Please let us know if we can be of any other assistance, we're here to support you!

robertbl78 thank you for taking the time to reach out to us via Xfinity Community Forums. I understand that you have come across concerns accessing recently watched channels. Do you only notice this issue when using the Xfinity Stream app on your LG TV? Does this issue occur on other devices as well?

Yes, only on my LG TV web o/s platform. My roku stick (on an older LG) and Roku TV don't have this issue.

The "last watched" issue from 10 to 5 selections is on all Roku devices/TV's, not LG (sorry, that was 2 issues in one in the original post).

robertbl78 I appreciate that additional information, so the other concern with the LG TV is that you are unable to access specific channels in general from that list. Are you noticing any trends in which channels/networks this occurs with?

It could be any of the 9 channels, but usually FNC, CNN or PBS as that's what I flipped through the most. But again, it can be any channel after having successfully tuned it one time. Do you guys not have a test bench for this app? How does the dev team test new releases? Honestly frustrating....

I'm surprised more people haven't commented on the reduction in recent channels. It's VERY inconvenient and some communication would have been helpful. Any chance it will go back to nine?
