Connect to in-home WiFi to watch error message

I am trying to use Xfinity Stream app to watch live TV on my Firestick. Whenever I click on some channels, I get this "Connect to in-home WiFi to watch" message. I am at home, and connected to my home WiFi. My modem is registered since I am renting it from Comcast. I have tried restarting the Firestick, I’ve tried reinstalling the Xfinity app, and I’ve tried resetting my Wi-Fi connection. None of it works.

Hi there, @user_azwkct! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum! Do you have any other devices that you may be able to try the XFINITY Stream app on to see if you get the same error message? This would help to see if the issue is with the Firestick only, or connection wide.

I am having the same issue with my iPhone and. Xfinity Stream.  I recently switched most channels to our second home.

@user_6clh6r I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing the same issue with the Streaming app on your iPhone. Are you having the same problem with any other device?
