It's almost 2024, where is Stream for Android TV

Per the title, where is the Stream App for Android TV.  I was just notified that Showtime Anytime is going away and the only way I can continue to steam is through the Stream App.  BUT there is not Android TV support.

I need a resolution.

Hi there and welcome to Comcast @TallGuyNJ. Thank you so much for reaching out to us about our Xfinity Stream App. At this time it is not available on the Android TV. Here is a link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-tv-app-requirements that will give you the approve platforms at this time.

For the amount of money we pay this should no longer be an issue in 2024.  Especially when the Showtime Anytime is gone and now my Starz App is acting up. This is ridiculous....figure it out and make it happen!!!

Hi @user_rea1in,

Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Community Forums support page. I do apologize, but the Xfinity Stream application is not supported on the Android TV operating system. My home is full of TVs that run the Android TV OS and wish I had the application as well.

I know that with my specific televisions, my Android TV OS televisions are able to support Google Chromecast built-in. With the Google Chromecast features on the mobile applications, you would be able to cast and stream your content to your television if your television supports these features. It's something I use all the time personally to watch certain applications, shows, and movies at home.

For our Xfinity Stream app, you can find additional information, instructions, and steps by visiting our 'Casting Xfinity Stream Content to Chromecast' support page. We will be more than happy to pass along your feedback regarding the development of a native Android TV OS Xfinity Stream application.
