My Xfinity iPhone stream app is unstable - closing, dropping audio, freezing video.

Sometimes the app closes automatically in the middle of a live show.  Sometimes the video continues but the audio stops.  Other times the audio continues but the video is frozen.  Xfinity Stream version 7.18.1, iPhone 12, iOS 17.6.1.  Any suggestions?

This link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/troubleshooting-stream-portal-and-app has great information on troubleshooting the Xfinity stream app or Xfinity stream portal.  Some things i would recommend are uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your device also clearing any caches or cookies

 

also checking your connection,  if you're connected via Wi-Fi check the Wi-Fi connection if you're running it off your data check your data connection and your data usage from your mobile carrier
