Sound but No Picture

Can anyone help? I set our DVR to record the a live football game that I knew I was going to miss the start of. My husband is watching the recording with no problem on a tv but on my Xfinity app I have only sound with a black screen!! This has never happened before! What can I do since I have done all the usual steps to fixing this type issue?? Closing down and reopening the app, restarting my device, taking 30 frustrating minutes  attempting to contact an Xfinity rep but only getting the bot insisting on resetting every system in my home before allowing me to talk to someone. Is there help to be had for this issue?

I'm having the same issue. Moto z. Verizon. Update pushed recently. I think broke Xfinity app
