TVAPP-00148 weeir

I received this error message tonight after using the Xfinity Stream app for the entire day.  I attempted different resolutions and discovered that my password had gotten corrupted by the Xfinity system.  I went through the reset password path and reset my password to my original password and it was accepted.

This is a VERY big security issue in that:

1) My password got corrupted and could have been compromised by someone other than me

2) I was able to reset my password to the one I had previously using and Xfinity did not/could not verify that I had previously used password which is a terrible security hole as well.

I have no idea what happened but do recognize that the Xfinity securiy system is deeply flawed and needs to be fixed.

user_90egt3 thanks for reaching out and letting us know about the TV error code you are receiving when attempting to use the Xfinity Stream app. We know how important access is to your favorite programs. Let's ensure you are back up and running together and look into your security related concerns. Firstly, after completing the password reset was your access restored to view programs?

The issue is more the security threat than getting back online.  My post indicated I was already back online, just want the security risk resolved.
