Using Stream app while connected to projector

When using my my Xfinity Stream app and I'm trying to watch a movie or show on my projector it tells me it's not supported whether I'm using cellular data or other Wi-Fi

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the Xfinity Stream app, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

 

Are you using the Xfinity Stream app installed on the projector itself, or is there a streaming device connected to your projector that is running the Xfinity Stream app? Is there a code listed with the "not supported" error you're seeing?

Known there is no streaming app on the projector I'm trying to string from my Xfinity cell phone to my projector to watch it on the big screen

@user_4r5874 Thank you for clarifying that it's not an app directly on the projector. Have you been able to previously stream using our stream app with the projector? Can you clarify more on the steps you are using to stream to the projector, including the type of projector you are using? You mentioned you are getting a "Not Supported" message. Are you getting that with the Stream app or with the projector itself? The more information you can provide us the better we will be able to assist you in finding a resolution.
