Xfinity app doesn’t work on Samsung TV

My xfinity app stopped working on all of my Samsung Smart TVs today. I updated all of the software and it still doesn’t work. Any suggestions?

What error code are you getting? Same thing happened to me. Error code TVAPP-00148

Yes, I got the same error code message.  I was able to reach a person on Xfinity Chat and as soon as they responded it started working on its own.  I'm afraid to turn the tv app off for fear it won't come back, again.

Mine started to work on it's own too, but it's definitally intermittent. I'm able to stream, then it'll error and say it's resuming, resume, then error again. This time though I do not receive the same error code I mentioned above.

Figured they are messing with stuff and I'll try again tomorrow.

Hello user_h39940, thank you for letting us know about the issues you are having with the stream app. I can understand being nervous to change anything due to concerns about it happening again. May I ask what troubleshooting steps you have already tried?
