Xfinity app on Amazon firestick, channels CNN & Fox news don't play

issue started this afternoon (6/19/25) has been working w/o issue all along before this afternoon. running Xfinity app on a Amazon fire stick not on my home network.

All other channels I tried that are labeled "TV GO" channels work. CNN displays commercial break in progress, CNN will resume momentarily. Fox news displays a black screen.

no error messages from either channel. Amazon firestick is up to date, I deleted Xfinity app and reinstalled no help. I have a second Amazon fire stick on another TV and have the same issue. I logged into Xfinity website on my computer and tried to watch live tv (channels CNN & Fox News) and have the same issue. I tried the Xfinity stream app on my iPhone 14 Pro, IOS 18.5 and selected "Live TV" and was able to watch Fox News (841) w/o any issues. I was not able to watch CNN (842) having the same issue as using our fire stick. My iPhone is connected to wifi, the same wifi the firestick is configured to use. PLEASE HELP!

Experiencing same issue with CNN and Fox News. Other “TV GO” channels are working as normal.

Same here..

Using Stream on the Windstream network. For 3 weeks watched the FOX News Channel on both an Android Samsung phone and a Samsung A8 tablet, without issue. Yesterday on both devices JUST that Channel is black , all other channels OK.

Uninstalled Stream . Restarted router. Restarted phone. Reinstalled Stream.  Same problem...

Mine just started working.  June 20. 4pm

FM.....FRIGGIN MAGIC!!!!
