@user_e6whz2 Without providing personal information are you able to share a screenshot of the error you're receiving? Xfinity Internet and Xfinity TV are standalone services, however, there are some service features that require one of those services to be active in conjunction to the other one in order to access them. Xfinity TV is not required for Xfinity Internet customers, you can have internet only and still receive our 2 Gig service if your area supports it.
