Xfinity stream app no video sometimes

I have the xfinity stream app on an apple tv

normally works great but sometimes we turn it all on and select live TV and it plays audio but video is blank. I closed the apps on the Apple TV and tried again and still the same

always requires me to restart the Apple TV box 

when in this state all other apps work fine

user_hbz753 Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfintiy Forums. I can understand how frustrating it would be to have audio but no video! Have you already attempted to uninstall the Xfinity Stream app, check for any updates to the TV itself and then reinstall the app to see if that helps to resolve this concern?

Yes I have. It is not a TV issue. All other apps and streaming work fine via my Apple TV. It is simply only Live TV on the Xfinity Stream App running on my Apple TV. 

I automatically update the Apple TV box firmware and also the TV when needed.

Thanks for verifying that information, @user_hbz753. I don't see that we have any widespread issues with the XFINITY App as it pertains to Apple TV currently. Does this happen on all live channels on the app?
