Xfinity stream freezes on Samsung UN65NU6950
Xfinity stream always freezes.on this Samsung TV model 65NU6950.
It is not the wifi because other, cheaper, TV located further away from the modem always woek flawlessly. I would appreciate any suggestions including to know what tV would work or not when buying a new one.

Hi there! Since the Xfinity Stream app works normally on another TV in your home, this does make the app or software on the Samsung UN65NU6950 the more likely issue. That model is from 2018 and is still supported as long as it has the required Samsung software version.
Before replacing the TV, go to Settings, Support, Software Update, then select Update Now. After the update, hold the power button on the Samsung remote until the TV turns off and restarts. Then delete and reinstall the Xfinity Stream app and sign back in.
If it continues freezing, using a supported Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, or Xumo Stream Box would be a much less expensive option than replacing the television and would bypass the older Samsung hardware. Can you also let us know whether it freezes during live TV, recordings, On Demand programming, or all three?
