Xfinity streaming app does not work on LG TVs if not on an Xfinity network.
Any suggestions?
I cannot get the Xfinity streaming app to work on any on my LG smart TVs if not connected to an Xfinity network.
The App works just fine on other TV's using Roku or a Fire stick when not connected to a Xfinity Network.

The Stream app for mobile devices works with any ISP, but the (formerly "beta") "Stream App for TV Partner Devices" only works when connected to your home Comcast Internet service.

@mwthomas Thank you for reaching out to the Xfinity forum team. I understand that you are running into issues with the Xfinity stream app on your LG tv. What is the error message or error code that you are seeing?

I DO have an xFinity network but my LG tv is not smart and won’t allow me to cast anything. In Setup I have allowed Stream to use my local network. I am using the xFinity Stream app. Any help would be appreciated.
