Xfinity Streaming App on 2024 LG TV - Remote Control for Direct Channel Entry
I have a new (2024) LG TV and installed the Xfinity streaming app. I can navigate the guide using up/down arrows but scrolling through a couple of hundred channels to find what you want is a burden. The LG remote won't do it (as far as I can tell) so is there an Xfinity remote that I can use on my LG TV that will allow direct channel entry like a set top box? Without direct channel entry the streaming app is pretty worthless IMO.

Hi @jpopatents Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience regarding the stream app on the LG TV. I would be more than happy to offer my assistance looking into this further for you. There is not a remote that works with the stream app at this time. You would have to use the LG remote in order to scroll through the channels.
