Xfinity wont open Netflix app

I’ve read the articles from previous users to troubleshoot and nothing is working. The Netflix app was working yesterday and now today, it won’t open through xfinity. Everything else opens.

@user_abcdc Sorry to hear your Netflix app is not working. Are you accessing it through one of our boxes? Are you receiving any error messages when trying to access it?

I am having the same issue. It doesn’t give an error message all it says is the entering third party app at bottom and nothing else. Last week it opened but in the middle of watching something it out, of nowhere, kicked me out. I was not having any problems until I upgraded my internet modem box. I should’ve stayed with my 5 yr old box. I am so over it already. Looking into switching cable companies because service [Edited: "Language"] for what I pay.

Hello @user_yss7ij, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a comment on our community forum, and we would be happy to help. Can I have you try to clear your Xfinity data history, you'll clear different types of data depending on the device: for X1/Xumo Stream Box, use the remote to find "Locally stored data" in Settings > Privacy. Then use your remote and ask for Netflix to be restarted. Please let us know if that helps.
