Apple TV login issues

I am unable to log in to Apple TV. I have been able to for years but now I get an error message for the past two days.

I’ve reset the modem, turned off the set box, wiped the cache on the box and did a system reset. These I’ve read from previous searches. All my other apps work.

user_8jzbew Thank you so much for stopping in for help with your Apple TV login. We would be more than happy to help make sure you can get into the app. Are you getting an error message or error code when you attempt to log in?

I scan the QR code with my Apple phone. My phone asks if I want to log in on the tv. I reply yes and my phone scan my face and then says you have been signed on. Your TV will refresh. The TV then puts up a box that says “Couldn’t sign in. Wait a moment, then try again.” With an OK in blue box. If I click on the remote in the center point on navigation it refreshed the QR code.

This has been going on for over three days. I’ve restarted every electronic part of the system. I’ve followed all instructions to reset the set top box, cleared the cache and checked that the firmware was up to date.

What else can be done? It’s pretty frustrating.

user_8jzbew I would recommend trying to reach out to Apple support for the login issue. We could help if it was just an internet connection, but doesn't sound like the internet is causing the problem if other apps are working. Apple support would be the best place to get assistance with login issues for their app.
