audio out of sync using xfinitystream app on firestick

Audio and video are constantly out of sync. It's hard to watch when it's a little out of sync; impossible to watch when the difference routinely carries dialogue into the next scene.

This is an ongoing problem. It's an issue with recorded shows and with on demand.

This is not an issue with any other app, or with live TV.

Everything up to date. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app a dozen times or more.

What can be done?

Hello @user_uq3lm5. Thank you for reaching out on our Community Forum. I know how important it is to make sure your services are working correctly. When it comes to looking at your recorded shows and on demand. Does it buffer at all? Is the problem fixed if you pause the show to give it some time to load before playing it?

 Hi, thanks for the reply.

It's not a buffering issue at all. The programs play, but almost always with the audio and the video being out of sync.

For example, I go to the xfinitystreaming app. I select 'movies'; 'all premium movies'; and a movie called "Working Man".

This movie is on MGM+, which we pay for, so I choose to play it on-demand.

Right away, the MGM lion shows up, it looks like he's roaring - but the audio, the sound of him roaring doesn't come for another 10 seconds or something.

Everything that follows, the video and the audio are out of sync.

Try restarting. Same thing.

Try jumping ahead. Same thing.

Out of sync.

@user_uq3lm5​ I have the same exact issue with MGM+ streaming. Everything else on Xfinity is fine. Only MGM+ streaming is off. The MGM+ channels are fine. Have found no solution.
