Cannot cast via Xfinity Stream to Google Nest hub

This had been for weeks- trying to cast from pixel 5 via Xfinity Stream to the original Google hub. It connects to the hub, shows the program I'm trying to cast, then displays error message something went wrong, please try again, TV app -(001000). I uninstalled / reinstalled the app, restarted both devices. I am able to cast via any other app, just not the Xfinity stream.
