Closed captioning still a problem
I have privately reported this issue multiple times to Xfinity. Each time I have asked that they update their programming to the streaming Xfinity app but nothing ever changes closed. Captions by default is always on and I have to manually turn it off each time I either change a channel or launch the app. There is no reason for this. Moreover, the closed captions are often right in the middle of the screen. So even if I were using the closed captions, they would be blocking my view of the screen. I'd like to know why the Xfinity programmers don't test them this for themselves
