Deactivate Peacock Streaming

I was offered the free Peacock streaming service for the first time. So, I cancelled my subscription and activated my free subscription through Xfinity. After all that, I realized that there are now commercials. I have been trying to deactivate my Peacock through Xfinity now for THREE WHOLE DAYS, and NO ONE can help me! I can't change in the xfinity online portal, on the phone with anyone from Xfinity nor can I change it in the Peacock App or website. I'm extremely irritated by this process and just want my Peacock account released so I can upgrade back to the Premium Plus account. I have spent over 5 hours total on the phone with Xfinity support with NO RESULTS!!!

user_xhijw1 Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us here on our Community Forum. We are sorry that you are frustrated. Please do not provide your username here, but are you using the same login for your "free subscription" as you were for your paid one, or are they different?

I am still using my same login. I need the account deactivated as soon as possible! I have tried to “send a ticket up to IT but no success.

user_xhijw1 Your login should not be the same since your paid subscription is going to be tied to the username you were using previously. Please go here (https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/peacock-premium-offers) and follow the step-by-step instructions. Also, we are not able to deactivate a Peacock account here; you would need to manage your account through the Peacock site.
