DOLBY 5.1!!!!!

Where in god’s name is Dolby 5.1. or Dolby Atmos with your streaming app?? We are in 2024 and this technology started in the 90’s! It’s ridiculous that I have to watch Xfinity in stereo through your app. Please provide some feedback when this will happen. Apparently users cannot get a straight answer when they inquire about this.

dfc448 Thank you so much for your post for help with the Audio options when using the Xfinity Stream app. We did launch the Dolby Atmos immersive sound on the Xfinity Stream app with compatible devices for the recent Olympics. This would be a device setting you would need to enable on your TV or Dolby device or X1 compatible device. If using one of our 4k wireless boxes or our Xfinity stream (flex or Xumo) boxes you will have more sound settings available to you when using the Xfinity stream app. In the box settings, we would recommend Dolby Digital mode for your audio option. If using the streaming app on a mobile device that the option more than likely would not be available.

Deleted my Xfinity Stream app and reinstalled on 3/20/25 on my Roku streaming device. Now finally after all these years have Dolby Digital
