Downloaded programs on iPad disappeared

Downloaded programs on iPad disappeared the next day. On list of recordings it indicated the show is downloaded.
I’ve called Xfinity but no one has any idea what to do. I’ve deleted the app, cleared cache, ensured I’m on most recent version.

user_x9k8bx Thank you so much for reaching out for help with your downloaded content staying on your iPad. I have run into this before when a customers device did not have enough room to store the downloaded content. The downloaded content is not stored in the cloud; it is a local copy on your device. Have you checked the available memory on your iPad to make sure there is room for the downloaded content?

user_x9k8bx Thank you for letting me know and checking. Are you by chance turning off your internet/wifi connection? Even though they are downloaded and use local storage the Xfinity Stream app require internet access to play the downloaded content?

If you have a physical DVR, it also maybe that the DVR is not syncing as it should to the cloud. You can try and update that right in your box's settings. Press the Xfinity button on your remote, select Settings (the gear icon), then go to Device Settings and choose Sync DVR. You may want to retry the download after the sync.

Is there a solution for this? Although it seems an app defect rather than anything else.
I have the same issue. Plenty of storage on the iPad (102 Gb used of 256 Gb) but programs just disappear from the Downloads section. The program is still downloaded (under Recordings it still shows as “On this device until 11/23” and if I look at the iPad Storage the program still shows as a Downloaded Video under the Stream app) and I can play it from the Recordings section. That “solution” is only available though when on WiFi though, so isn’t an option for my upcoming flight.

Greetings, @user_asanuj! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your downloaded content on the Xfinity Stream app, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". @XfinityAmandaB

i am able to record shows and watch them while traveling in a car , of course there is no WiFi as the point of downloading is so the program is now on my device.
However sonetimes when I try to download other shows, while on WiFi, they do not show as downloaded . My device has more than enough memory,

please advise as this just started happening in August. Prior to that I never had a problem. I’ve download many shows and watched them in a car or plane without an issue until this past August.
