Error TVAPP-00148

The Xfinity Stream is not displaying a picture on my Samsung TV. I can view the menu, I can select a channel, but instead of seeing the actual channel, this message displays: Sorry, something went wrong. Try again. Error TVAPP-00148.

I’ve tried again, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and nothing has worked.

I found this information in a closed thread. Give it a try.

"Turn tv on. Then press and hold the power button on remote until Samsung appeared on screen. Release power button. TV went off then on.  Xfinity app now works perfect."

Hi DreamSayerZ! Thank you for your reply and help. I kept tinkering with it, I got it fixed before seeing your suggestion, but thank you for providing a technique to fix it.

What I eventually did was delete the app completely, turned off my tv, I turned the tv back on, reinstall the app and then it began to work.

So far so good! Thanks again!
