Ethernet connection

I recently received the following error message:

"Your internet connection is not strong enough to stream uninterrupted video.

If you are connected to WiFi, there are several things you can do to improve your connection."

I am connected directly to the modem by ethernet cable to an iMAC running Catalina v10.15.7.

Hi, @Vinnie1 Thank you for reaching out and creating a new post. I see you got an alert on your hardwired device that your network was having some trouble streaming. Have you seen this before while streaming? Does this pop only with the Stream App/portal, or have you seen this on other sites or apps?

@XfinityVianney​ This has happened numerous times while streaming from an iMac.

@Vinnie1 We'll work with you until we find a resolution to your Xfinity internet speed over a hardwired connection. Are any other devices having speed issues while hardwired to the modem? Have you tried a new ethernet cable?

Upgraded the ethernet cable and still receive an error message.

Here is the latest one: "There is a problem with your network connection.
If you are connected to WiFi, there are several things you can do to improve your connection"

@Vinnie1, thanks for testing a new cable and getting back to use. Were you also able to check if it happens to any other device like a phone etc?
