Fire TV stick 4k differences

There appear to be some deficiencies in the Fire TV version at least on my Stick 4k’s. There is no way to designate channels as favorite channels, although the favorites sync with those I select on the iOS app. Also, some non-HD channels that display 16:9 on the iOS app display as 4:3 with the picture elongated vertically.
