Issue with laptop

My Xfinity Stream DVR playback works normally on my TV and phone. On my laptop, completed recordings work perfectly, but recordings still in progress cannot be fast-forwarded or rewound. This happens in both Chrome and Edge. Please escalate this as an Xfinity Stream web-player issue and check whether there's an existing engineering ticket.

comcast has known about this issue/problem for MONTHS (August 26th or even earlier) and does not care to inform us about what the actual problem is, why and when it first started, nor offer any other useful details for those of us affected who actually took the time to come here and try to help get it resolved.

some posts by users, relating to this, have been deleted.  maybe there is something to hide that could cost comcast a lot more money than they want us to know about.

i mean, we're just the people who pay them to sustain their business and livelihoods for all employees and shareholders, but i'm sure they don't think they'll be the next Blockbuster Video.  nobody ever does.  look at how at&t has done since the internet was released by DARPA for public use. and now with Starlink just beginning.

some companies just don't learn.  if you don't satisfy your customers, somebody else can, and will.  without customers, there is no business to manage and live off of.

It started about 3 weeks ago. Everything was fine on my laptop with streaming for the last 10+ years before this

Outside of trying a different browser, did you complete any other troubleshooting?

Okay, we can look into this further.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
