Maintaining access to Xfinity Stream app and purchases if I leave Xfinity?

So, I haven’t been happy lately with the quality of Xfinity’s service. And honestly have been thinking of possibly making the switch from Xfinity to DIRECTV.

I’ve been with Xfinity for a long time now. And of course, I use the Xfinity Stream app. In Xfinity Stream, I have purchased many movies and tv programs and basically built a digital library of movie and tv purchases in Xfinity Stream.

This may seem a silly question but I am curious. If I were to tell Xfinity I’m no longer interested in having cable service through them (and I make the switch to DIRECTV) will I lose access to my Xfinity Stream account and all the movies and tv shows I’ve spent my money purchasing? I figure since I spent money purchasing those programs (just like I purchase movies and tv shows on Amazon Prime Video, for example) I should still be able to log into Xfinity Stream and watch my previous purchases. Anyone know if that would be possible?

My mother died two months ago and I was promised a refund for the credit balance she had.  To date no refund has been sent.  Each time I call about it the representative lies and says a check is coming, but still no check.  This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with and I plan to drop them for my own service once I file my complaint with the FCC and eventually get this matter resolved.  Xfinity is a crooked business and should be shut down!
