Missing channels

We have the Xfinity X1 service but are trying to switch from using cable boxes to using the Xfinity stream app on our tVs that are capable of it. We have a TV that has an Apple TV box and we installed the Xfinity stream app. However, many many channels are missing including some of our favorites like TLC. When I pull up the Xfinity stream app on my iPhone, however all of our channels are there. How do I get all of the channels on our Apple TV box I’ve tried signing in signing out but it didn’t help.

@user_sherry Thank you for making us aware of these missing channels on your Apple TV while using the Xfinity Stream app via Forums. I would be more than happy to figure out a solution to this problem you're experiencing. So that we don't go over something you've already done, can you please share with me what troubleshooting steps have you completed on your own?

So far just signing in/out and  reinstalling apps

We appreciate you trying those steps. Did you verify that the Apple TV shows connected to your home network and not a hotspot? If you see that is on your home network already,please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.

 

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
