No sound on recording

I recorded some tennis today. Part way through the recoding the sound is gone … and doesn’t come back! Any ideas? It is not a connection issue, I can play other recordings and the sound is working.

Good Afternoon, @jterry801! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums! I am very sorry to hear about the experience with your recording for the tennis. There are many factors, it could be that the broadcast had a sound concern which is the most common. Are you able to confirm if there was something recording at the same time if that had an audio issues?

Sorry to be so long -- I just got the notification that you had responded!

I don't believe anything else was recording at the time.

The US Open has concluded, I know the score. 

I was hoping for a more timely response.

@jterry801 Oh, no! Not sure what happened with the notification. Are you experiencing any other audio issues with your recordings? If you haven't already, you're welcome to unplug and restart your modem, and your cable boxes. This ensures your equipment is updated. This may or may not be the reason for the last audio issue, but it helps clear up any other issues that may come up.
