“Out of Home” Error on Firestick
I am trying to access local channels via Xfinity Stream on my Firestick.
Last night, everything was working fine. But now I am at my wit’s end as the app keeps saying I am “out of home.”
I’ve tried everything. Signed out, deleted the app, allowed permission to access my location, changed zip code on Firestick.
I have literally tried EVERYTHING to resolve this issue.
PLEASE HELP

Hi, I completely understand how frustrating that is, especially since everything was working fine last night.
The "Out of Home" message is usually caused by the Xfinity Stream app no longer recognizing your home internet connection. A few things that can help narrow this down:
• Confirm your Fire Stick is connected to your home Xfinity WiFi network and not a guest network, hotspot, VPN, or alternate connection. • Try opening the Xfinity Stream app on a phone or tablet connected to the same home WiFi and see if you receive the same message. • Visit the Xfinity Stream portal from a device connected to your home network and check whether local channels work there. • Restart both the Fire Stick and your Xfinity gateway/modem:
Since this was working yesterday and suddenly stopped today, it may be an issue with how the app is verifying your connection as being in-home.
To help narrow this down, are you using an Xfinity Gateway or your own modem/router? Also, does the "Out of Home" message appear on all channels or only your local channels?
