Peacock Premium

I have activated my Peacock Premium subscription.  I can stream Peacock on my computer.  However, I can not access Peacock via my TV using the xfinity cable service.  Currently I can speak "login to Peacock" via my voice remote. On the refreshed screen I choose to subscribe to Peacock Premium and am then directed to a login screen which already has my xfinity email address shown.  However, the screen locks up at this point and I am unable to enter my xfinity password or proceed with any other activity.

What more do I need to do to gain access to Peacock on my cable TV?

@user_0gkicy Are you using the same login credentials for Peacock on the cable box as on the computer? Don't say subscribe, say open Peacock. To log in to your existing Peacock account on your Xfinity X1 or Flex device, open the Peacock app, select "Sign In," and enter your Peacock email and password.

@DreamSayerZ Thank you for the advice. I do not see an app (for peacock) on my xfinity x1 device.  When I speak "peacock, open peacock or login peacock" via my voice remote the peacock home screen comes up.  My only option to potentially watch is to select "Subscribe to Peacock".  This leads to a choice to select "Premium" or "Premium Plus" plan.  When I select "Premium" plan a new screen opens.  If I am logged-in on my computer with my xfinity Email address the new screen says "Welcome "Xfinity Email Address","Please create a peacock account password" The place location to create a password is "gray" and no input (voice of keyed) is accepted.

If I am not logged-in with xfinity or peacock on my computer the email name is a default name. And once again, no PW input accepted. At this point I have no further options to proceed.

@user_0gkicy Can you try this way? Access apps on your Xfinity X1, press the Xfinity button on your remote, then navigate to Apps and find/select the Peacock app. Press the OK button to open. Somewhere on the first screen there should be a sign-in button. I would also try doing a system refresh on the box to see if that helps.

If this still doesn't work, wait here for an official Xfinity employee to respond and assist you further.

@user_0gkicy You could try a factory reset on the Xfinity X1 box, but that will erase all personalized settings and scheduled recordings, requiring you to reconfigure the box after the reset. If that's something you want to try;

Here's how to perform a factory reset on your Xfinity X1 box:
Using the Remote Control
  1. Ensure the device is powered on.
  2. Press and hold the "Power" and "Menu" buttons on your remote simultaneously.
  3. Navigate to the "Restore Defaults" option using the up and down arrow buttons.
  4. Select "Restore Defaults" and press "OK".
