Record Button Missing on Roku

Why is the record button missing from most shows in the Xfinity Stream app on Roku? I have to switch to the app on Android to record a show. When are all the bugs going to be fixed? It's like nothing is being done with the app anymore and it's the only way I have to watch TV since I don't have a DVR box.

voyager62 Thanks for reaching out to us with your concerns! Have you checked to make sure the Roku has the latest version (Roku OS 15) and the latest version of the Xfinity Stream app?

Yes, the Roku checks and updates automatically once per day. There are two other things that are really annoying. One is that you can't record 2 half hour shows on one channel and an hour show on another, even though there are 2 tuners. This is because even though the recordings are supposed to start and stop on time, they add an extra minute to both. This makes it impossible to record the shows on one tuner. The other thing is that when you scroll the guide sometimes it will stop loading for some channels or will display the current show for future time slots.

voyager62 The Roku devices themselves have access to the service with the streaming app, but currently don't have the ability to set up recordings. It's not an error or issue that is currently be worked on as it is intended to not have that function at this time. Sounds like you do know that you can set up recordings on your android device already which is what I would have suggested, but I can't help with the Roku as it's not supposed to support the function of setting recordings through the app on a Roku device.
